Well, it's that time of week again- IT'S TABLESCAPE THURSDAY! Yay! Our lovely hostess, Susan at Between Naps on the Porch throws open the doors to the all the dish-aholics in Blogland and creativity reigns!
Unfortunately, it's going to be another of those "reality" weeks at Casa Bramasole. With so many people living together, life has a habit of getting just a little chaotic at times.
We're going very simple this week and we'll give you a little heads up to what you'll find here tomorrow for Foodie Friday
This was one of those increasingly frequent nights lately, where nobody's schedule seemed to mesh. one child had track and ate with the team, one was working on a school project at a friend's house, and Allie was busy inhaling leftovers of her favorite lo mein and fried dumplings. Mom and Dad tend to eat an early dinner- they don't quite get why the family isn't ready to sit and eat dinner with them at 4:30- sigh....
That left me and Ray
A dinner for two in the family room
I threw a small lap blanket that I love over the round table...
simple place settings in the midst of some favorite books and a reminder of a favorite little girl....
Square black charger, olive pasta plates...
Dinner is served
Bistecca alla Pizzaiola, Spaghetti, Fresh Bread
Arancini- (Italian Rice Balls)
You'll have to wait till tomorrow for dessert...
I'm a purist...
Ray prefers cheese...
Evening lamplight...
We'll see you tomorrow for Foodie Friday at Gollum's
Come join us for dinner!
The door is always open and a seat at our table awaits
As Always,
Buon Alimento, Buon Amici,
Pattie and Allie
That looks so gosh darn good. I mean really good.
